We also had another very interesting customer this week, Lee Zaborowski.  Lee is the author of RVer’s Best Public Campgrounds.  He ordered a cut vinyl banner to advertise his book. This book is about RV camping in the public campgrounds spread across the U.S. These campgrounds are managed by and located on state, city, county or federal agency park lands. Being in a public park environment, campground sites tend to be among woods, spread out, and non-commercial. Because local, state or federal tax funds provide partial support for the parks, you will find that camping fees are often less than $19 a night. In addition, agencies will frequently give discounts (some up to 50%) to campers who are disabled, military, or seniors.

The individual campgrounds selected for this book will accommodate most RVs of all classes and sizes. They are reasonably convenient to an Interstate road. You will also find a list of specific campground features, phone numbers, websites and GPS coordinates. Detailed, turn-by-turn directions from the Interstate, are also included. Granted, not all camps are full service or full hook-up, but the mix of amenities, modest fees, and beautiful location make for a wonderful RVing experience. All the campgrounds have a source of potable water and restrooms. Most have showers and dump stations or sewers. Many have electricity. With very few exceptions, all are pet friendly.

A novel feature of the book is the inclusion of local ‘Points of Interest.’ If you’re traveling in an area of the country new to you, a few suggestions of things to do or see, once your rig is setup, seemed like a good idea and will definitely add to your camping enjoyment.

The City of Hollister has many company vehicles that do varies jobs around town. We had the honor of producing the new logos and the installation.  We printed the logos on clear vinyl and applied them to the trucks. The logo is very detailed and creative. Today we began installation on 1 of 6 new police cars for Branson. We went last week and took photos, measurements and color matching to duplicate the existing cars for the police department.  We used a high performance cast vinyl for the black and a high intensity reflective for the gold.  The Branson Police Department is sure to have a busy weekend ahead with the Shepherd of the Hills Annual Car Show and Cruise. Two of the most wonderfulwomen in the world came by our shop last Thursday. Phyllis and Jeanie Carnes, mother and daughter, drive from Maryland twice a year to see Mickey Gilley.  They ordered a new banner to celebrate Mickey’s return to Branson! Casey and I have been busy working on a variety of lettering and graphics for our good friend David Haack. David is a die-hard Nascar fan. You’ve probably seen him driving one of his many cars around town. The cars are all decked out with Nascar decals. Recently David wantedhis Camaro’s to take on a different look, so we installed racing stripes on them. David choose some really cool vinyl – we used a non-skid vinyl on the red Camaro and an ultra-metallic silver on the teal Camaro. David added his own touch by having us include some checkers into the stripes. That really gave the cars a unique look and appeal! We really appreciate David’s order and we wish the best with him and his health.

We just finished up some really great looking signs for UTC Hardwoods. They wanted to re-use some existing signs so it was decided to cover the back side of two 5′ x 10′ sheets of alupanel. On one we printed vinyl to cover the entire sheet and on the other we used cut vinyl for a directional sign.

Kevin Knudsen came in and ordered a nice looking new backlit.  SIX are six real brothers. They actually come from a family of ten brothers, no sisters and are the six oldest in the family. When SIX were still very young, their father noticed that that they could make up songs and also make up harmonies without instruction. Being musically gifted himself, he decided to sit them down at an old piano (the only instrument they could afford) and begin teaching them gospel hymns. They picked the hymns up quickly and were soon singing them in 4-5 part harmony. After their first performance singing gospel in church, they began learning other types of music and performing at various rotary clubs, talent contests, community concerts and fairs. After performing on the Osmond show years ago,  their careers expoded and they are here in Branson!SIX is Back in Branson for 2010!

Steve Rodman a long time friend and customer,  came in a few weeks ago and ordered some graphics for his company vans. Steve already had a design, but we ended up recreating something a bit different. And boy did it turn out nice! We installed graphics on two of Steve’s van and he told us he’s got more!
